About Us


  • Ananas Plantation Kenya Ltd is a limited liability company Resisted in Kenya in the year 2018. Before the registration, the proprietors had been in the business of growing pineapple in Malindi-chalalu on their farm since 2012 the plantation lies in the coastal region of Malindi and is approximately 60 km from Malindi town. The Head office of the company is located in Nairobi – Agip House 6th floor Apartment 3 – Hailsellasie Avenue. The Executive Chairman of the company is Mr. Johnson Wambua who is the majority shareholder at 51% and doubles up as a Director.The shareholders vision is to expand the farm in the next 12 months to full utilization. The core business of the company is growing pineaples and value addition. Other agricultural activities on the farm are supplementary.

  • To produce quality organic Pineapples through Practicing Modern and scientific farming methods in compliance with International Standards. To collaborate and partner with players in the Agricultural sector Government, Quasi- Government and private Sector to grow fruits organically, which will delight the consumer and exceed their expectations.

  • We strive to maintain zero Tolerance to accidents in the plantation through: Complying with the occupational health and Safety Act and Other Relevant Agricultural Acts. We offer Continuous occupational health and safety, training and evaluation of our workers, Equipment’s Maintenance through periodic monitoring, inspection and repairs, providing worker with appropriate personal protection equipment and clothing, (ppe) while on duty, Maintaining comprehensive insurance covers to mitigate against loss or injury to workers, company and clients at all times, all workers are required to make health and safety part of their daily routine.

    ANANAS PLANTATION AT CHALALU – MALINDI sits on a fairly flat surface with gentle slopes. It lies on the coastal tropical region of Kenya with sunshine around the year and moderate rains. The company has set up workers housing camps with all amenities and staff welfare is key to the harmonious relationship existing at the plantation. Planting of the pineapple plant is either from the circus or stem. This is a year round exercise. An hectare is planted with pineaple seedlings of between 70,000-80,000 plants,double rows with spacing of box 90 x 60 cm.

    Starting a sister company for oil palm Plantation

  • The development of oil plant breeding and growing is new in Kenya. There are no known plantations. Under the currents crop diversification policy of the government there is good opportunity for the country to start palm oil plantations. Under the Agenda 4 oil palm industry has a good chance of success. Once started in the country it will accelerate agricultural, industrial and economic growth.

    Heavy and Light agricultural equipments for mechanising the farm.

  • Ananas plantation has invested in both heavy and light agricultural farm equipments such as bull dozers, tractors, trucks, excavators, to help develop the farm and grow acrage. This modernisation programme will assist in achieving the company goals within the next three years. The company intents to construct pans , dams and other water storage sites within the farm and assist the comminity in the same endavour at large.
